If you want to get your hands on a chunk of 44341 bitcoins your last chance is quickly approaching. On November 5th 2015 the US Marshals will be holding the final set of auctions to rid themselves of their confiscated bitcoin holdings.

The initial investigation consisted of the U.S. Federal Bureu of Investigation and the U.S. Secret Service. Back in 2014 they busted Ross Ulbricht and recently convicted him to life in prison with the possibility of parole. Extremely unfair sentencing in my opinion. This is a guy who offered services that grown decision making adults took part in. Purchasing things for themselves to consume by themselves. On the flip side you have a bunch of banker's who recently created one of the worst housing bubbles this country has ever seen and instead of punishing those corporate entities we as tax payers are forced to bail them out. No such luck for Ross or the people of this country.

Anyways, the U.S. Government will get to add just a little more free money to their coffers. Reminds me of the reverse Robin Hood. Steal from the poor and give to the rich.

Who will purchase and win the final set of auctions? Well, that has yet to be determined and I will write a follow-up article once the auctions are finalized.
